Influenced by my first trip to Asia in 1981, my latest collection captures some of my most precious memories travelling Thailand, India, Nepal and Burma. The Spice Collection embodies the sensuously rich sights of Star Anise, Black Peppercorn, Chillies and Cloves piled high in the markets. Designed in-house at my independent boutique just off Carnaby Street in London, each spice in the collection has been carefully chosen for their beautiful organic shape and distinctive charm. From my show-stopping Vermeil Star Anise Cuff (worn on the red carpet by Natalie Dew - star dancer from Bend It Like Beckham Musical) to my pretty oxidised silver Peppercorn Ring, these unique designs make the perfect gift for any intrepid traveller, creative food-lover or Romantic Bohemian.
Earlier this Summer we arranged a photoshoot featuring my Star Anise Rings, Vermeil Cardamom Pod Bracelets, Bunch of Chillies Necklace and various spice necklaces. The beautiful model Flo was a fabulous and brought a bright and playful touch to the photoshoot. I wanted the final images to capture the vibrancy of the spice markets, so Yasmin and I held brightly coloured red and yellow canvases to act as a backdrop while the beautiful Flo modelled our jewellery.
